The CoilBind S-20 is a 20-sheet coil binding machine for busier offices and schools. A full-width handlebar punches 46 holes in one pull, the electric roller spins coils through in seconds, and the value kit includes 100 5/16" (8 mm) coils and a free crimper.

How to bind a document with the S-20

Punch
Stack up to 20 sheets against the guide, set the margin, and pull the handlebar.

Choose a coil
Pick a coil about 1/16" (2 mm) larger than the stack. 5/16" (8 mm) coils bind up to 52 sheets.

Insert electrically
Start the coil and rest the spine on the roller to spin it through.

Crimp
Trim and bend both ends with the included crimping pliers.

The S-20 uses 4:1 pitch plastic spiral coils. Choose a coil about 1/16" (2 mm) larger than the thickness of your punched stack so pages turn freely. Sheet counts below are approximate for 20 lb bond (80 gsm) paper.

How many sheets can the CoilBind S-20 punch at once?
Up to 20 sheets of 20 lb bond (80 gsm) per pull, across 46 holes. Finished documents can be up to 2" thick.
What's the difference between the S-20 and S-25A?
The main difference is the dies. The S-20 has fixed dies, so every pull punches all 46 holes. The S-25A has disengageable dies for custom paper sizes and carries a 2-year warranty instead of 1 year. Both include 100 coils and a crimper.
What comes in the box with the S-20?
The machine, a box of 100 5/16" (8 mm) plastic coils and coil crimping pliers.
Is the S-20 good for left-handed users?
Yes. The full-width handlebar can be pulled from either side or with both hands.
