Boway 5610H
22" Programmable Hydraulic Paper Cutter — 10.2" touchscreen, servo backgauge
— hydraulic clamp and blade, ±0.2 mm repeatability from a servo-driven backgauge, and a light-beam safety curtain across the front of the table.
The Boway 5610H is a floor-standing hydraulic paper cutter for busy print and bindery shops. A hydraulic clamp and blade cut cleanly through stacks up to 3.9 in. (100 mm) high and 22 in. (560 mm) wide, a servo motor drives the backgauge to ±0.2 mm, and a 10.2 in. touchscreen stores your repeat jobs so setup takes seconds. Clamp and cutting pressures are read and adjusted from gauges on the outside of the cabinet, and a light-beam curtain stops the machine the moment anything crosses the cutting area.
Freight-shipped on a pallet; lift-gate or dock delivery quoted separately. Side tables and air table optional. Call 800-268-6577 or email sales@printfinish.com.
Clean cuts through a 3.9 in. stack
The hydraulic clamp and blade apply steady, even pressure across the full 22 in. width, so thick stacks of coated stock, cover weights and padded work come off square without marking. A foot pedal pre-clamps the stack by hand when you want to check the cut line before committing.
Program the job once, run it all day
Enter cut sequences on the 10.2 in. touchscreen and save them for repeat work. The servo motor positions the backgauge to ±0.2 mm every time, so the tenth run matches the first and setup between jobs drops to seconds.
Read and adjust pressure without opening the cabinet
Two gauges on the outside of the machine show clamp and cutting pressure at a glance, and the pressure controller sits beside them. Turn clamp pressure down for soft or thin stock, up for dense stacks, and see the change immediately.
A light-beam curtain across the cutting area
An infrared safety curtain covers the front of the table and stops the blade and clamp instantly if anything breaks the beam. Combined with two-hand operation and a lockable main breaker, it meets the safety expectations of a shared bindery floor.
Heavy stacks move with a fingertip
The machined aluminum table lets operators slide and square heavy reams with minimal effort, and an air-float table is available as an option for continuous production. Optional side tables extend the work surface for larger sheets and for jogging stock before and after the cut.
Fast, quiet, accurate positioning
A servo motor rather than a stepper drives the backgauge, which means faster travel between cuts, near-silent movement and long-term accuracy with no belt stretch to compensate for. Minimum cut is 0.9 in. (20 mm).
What the 5610H is built to cut
Everyday bindery and print-finishing work from a 22 in. hydraulic cutter: trimming digital press output, cutting business cards and postcards from full sheets, and squaring padded and perfect-bound work.
From full sheet to finished stack
Roland DG Connect Designer, VersaWorks 7, and the BY2-20 work together as one connected design-to-print workflow.
Program the cut
Enter the cut positions on the touchscreen, or recall a saved job. The servo backgauge moves to the first position while you load.
Load and square the stack
Slide up to 3.9 in. of stock across the aluminum table and jog it against the backgauge and side guide. Pre-clamp with the foot pedal to check the cut line.
Cut
Two-hand operation triggers the hydraulic clamp, then the blade. The light-beam curtain guards the cutting area throughout.
Repeat
The backgauge advances to the next stored position automatically, so a business-card or postcard sheet is cut down to finished size in one programmed sequence.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 5610H a paper cutter or a trimmer?
A paper cutter. It is a guillotine-style hydraulic cutter that clamps and cuts a stack up to 3.9 in. high in one stroke — the same class of machine as a Triumph or Ideal floor cutter — not a single-sheet rotary trimmer.
What power does it need?
220 V, 50/60 Hz, single phase. Most shops run it from a dedicated 220 V outlet installed by an electrician; no three-phase supply is required.
How accurate is the backgauge?
Within ±0.2 mm. A servo motor positions the backgauge, and programmed jobs return to the same positions run after run.
Can I adjust clamp pressure for delicate stock?
Yes. The clamp-pressure controller and gauge are on the outside of the cabinet, so you can turn pressure down for thin or soft paper and back up for dense stacks without opening anything.
What is included, and what is optional?
The cutter ships with the aluminum table, blade, cutting stick, touchscreen controller and foot pedal. Side tables and the air-float table are optional extras — ask for them on your quote.
How is it delivered?
On a pallet by freight carrier. The machine is roughly 49 × 35 × 55 in.; tell us whether you have a loading dock or need lift-gate delivery and we will include it in the quote. We also stock replacement blades and cutting sticks.
