TR2 is the TrueVIS eco-solvent ink for the SG, SG2, SG3, VG, VG2 and VG3 families and the VF2-640. Ten channels cover CMYK, three light inks for smooth gradients, orange and green for extended gamut, and white for clear and dark media. Pouches are 500 ml; white is 250 ml.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put TR2 in a VG4 or XG-640?

No. Those machines run TR3. TR2 is for the SG, SG2, SG3, VG, VG2, VG3 and VF2-640.

Why is TR2 more expensive than TR3?

It is — $160.99 against $129.99 per 500 ml. That is what the September 2026 Roland price list shows, and it reflects the different formulation and case structure rather than an error.

Why is white a smaller pouch?

White is 250 ml because it is used for backing and underbase layers rather than as a process colour, so a full 500 ml would often expire before it was used.
