Then the rolls keep it running.
The machine is a one-time buy. The film is the reorder: three materials in 150 m and 500 m rolls, and all three run on either machine.
Paper banding machines, explained.
A paper banding machine wraps a printed strip of paper or film around a stack and heat-seals it in a single pass. Unlike a strapping machine, which tensions steel or plastic strap for heavy pallet loads, a banding machine is built for tidy, presentation-grade bundles: brochures, envelopes, mail runs and kitted orders. The band holds the count together without adhesive ever touching the product, so nothing tears when it's opened.
Both Sunpack models here are automatic: load the stack and the machine feeds, wraps, tensions and seals on its own. The WK02-30 sits on a bench for print shops and mailrooms; the WK02-30B is a free-standing floor unit for higher-volume lines. Same 30 mm band, same clean finish.
The roll you load sets the look. White paper is printable and retail-clean. Kraft reads natural and recycled. OPP film is clear and moisture-resistant when the product needs to stay visible. All three run on either machine, and at 150 m or 500 m per roll the consumable cost per bundle stays low.
PrintFinish stocks every machine and roll for fast dispatch across the United States and Canada, with banding film priced for repeat reorders. Buy the machine once; reorder the rolls as you go.
Banding questions, answered.
What's the difference between a banding machine and a strapping machine?
A strapping machine tensions steel or plastic strap to secure heavy pallet loads. A banding machine wraps a lighter paper or film band around smaller bundles (brochures, envelopes, mail) and heat-seals it for a clean, presentation-ready finish without adhesive on the product.
What banding film should I use: paper, kraft or OPP?
Use white paper when the band shows and you want a printable retail look, kraft for a natural recycled feel, and OPP clear film when the product needs to stay visible or resist moisture. All three fit both Sunpack machines.
How fast is the Sunpack banding machine?
Both models complete a full wrap-and-seal cycle in a second or two, keeping pace with hand-feeding on a finishing or fulfillment line.
Should I get the table-top or the floor model?
The WK02-30 table-top suits print shops and mailrooms with bench space and moderate volume. The WK02-30B floor model is better for higher throughput and continuous bundling. Both use the same 30 mm band.
Do you ship banding machines and film to Canada?
